Fire at 7-storey building in Dhaka’s Bashundhara under control

A fire that broke out at a seven-storey building on Road 5, Block G, in Dhaka's Bashundhara Residential Area tonight has been brought under control.

The fire originated on the sixth floor of the building around 9:00 pm. Two firefighting units went to the spot brought the fire under control around 9:45pm, said Rashed Bin Khaled, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
