Facebook photo caption will remain pending for Bogura student dead in accident

Kamran Hossain Mohan (23), a university student who changed his Facebook profile photo with a cryptic caption -- "Caption is pending" -- met a fatal road accident just an hour later, around 2:30 pm today.

Many of his friends and relatives, who heard the news, commented under the photo that Mohan's "caption will forever remain pending".

Mohan, son of Raisul Islam of Shekhara Bazar area under Bogura's Kahalu upazila, died in a road accident on Bogura-Naogaon regional highway near Godarpara Bazar under Bogura's Sadar upazila this afternoon.

The deceased is a student of Pundra University of Science and Technology in Bogura, our local correspondent reports. He was a third-year student of the department of English, said police.

Masud Rana, sub-inspector of Bogura Sadar police station said, "Mohan, riding his motorbike, was going home after his semester exam today. When he reached Godarpara Bazar area, a sand-laden truck -- going in the same direction -- hit him from behind. Run over by the truck, he died on the spot around 2:30 pm."

Police seized the truck but the driver managed to flee, the SI said.

Family members of the deceased did not want to file a case and they have taken the dead body without autopsy, Masud Rana said.
