Bangabazar fire: Fire service forms 5-member probe body

Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence has formed a five-member committee to investigate the devastating fire at the Bangabazar Shopping Complex in Dhaka today.

The committee was asked to submit the probe report within seven working days, sources at the fire service told The Daily Star tonight.

Lt Col Mohammad Taijul Islam Chowdhury, director (operation and maintenance) of Fire Service and Civil Defence, will lead the probe body.
