3 killed as their motorbike hits with tractor in Panchagarh

Three men were killed and another was injured when the motorcycle they were on crashed into a tractor on the Boda-Debiganj road in Panchagarh's Debiganj upazila today.

The deceased were identified as Touhidul Islam, 35, Amin Sheikh, 48, and Almas Ali, 56. All were residents of Boda's Titopara area.

Md Hossain, sub-inspector of Debiganj Police Station, confirmed the incident.

According to locals and police, the four were heading to Lakkhirhat area from Titopara early today. On the way, their motorcycle collided with a parked tractor in Debiduba area.

Amin and Touhidul died on the spot as all four fell from the bike. Later, firefighters and police rescued critically injured Almas and Salequl Islam and took them to Debiganj Upazila Health Complex, locals and police said.

Almas and Salequl were shifted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where Almas died of his injuries.
