2 killed in truck-auto rickshaw collision in Bogura

A man and a woman were killed yesterday and four injured when a speeding truck from the opposite direction hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Bogura's Shajahanpur upazila.
The deceased were identified as Putuli (25), of Sosankandi village of Shajahanpur upazila and Abdul Baki (55), reports our Bogura correspondent quoting Inspector Md Lutfar Rahman, in-charge of the Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital outpost.
The injured are two children of the woman, the CNG driver and another passenger of the auto rickshaw. Among the injured, two sustained critical injuries, said police.
The accident took place when a truck lost control and hit the CNG-run-auto rickshaw from the front at the Khotrapara village (Tinpukur area) under Bogura's Shajahanpur area around 7:30 pm yesterday, he added.
The four injured are undergoing treatment at the Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
