2 kids drown in pond

Two children drowned in a pond in Kathgor area in Chattogram yesterday. The deceased are Rizban Saleh Arish, 3, daughter of Md Nasir Uddin; and Fairuz Ulfat Wahzia, 3, son of Md Nezam Uddin of Kathgor.

OC Jayed Nur of Patenga Police Station, said the two were cousins, who fell into the pond around 11:00am while playing on the bank of a pond in the absence of their family members.
