1 killed, 2 hurt in Dinajpur

An autorickshaw driver died and two Nepalese students of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University in Dinajpur sustained injuries as a speeding truck rammed into their autorickshaw nearby the university yesterday afternoon.

The deceased was named Ikramul, 40. The injured students Makbul Hossain, 25, and Trafing Kachhi, 22, are pursuing higher education  at the university.

Locals and witnesses said the accident happened around 2:00pm when the truck ran over the autorickshaw, leaving the driver dead on the spot.
