A passenger was killed and 15 were injured as a bus fell into a ditch in Kalihati upazila of Tangail yesterday. Sayed Ali Khan (60) from Kochpur in Porsha upazila, Naogaon died on the spot, said police.
Aminul Islam, one of the injured passengers, said the Dhaka-bound bus from Naogaon was being driven recklessly.

Mohammad Alauddin, assistant director of fire service in Tangail, said, on information, they rescued the injured and took them to a hospital.
