Bangladesh clinches Hefzul Quran contest in Egypt

Bangladesh has clinched the title in Hefzul Quran competition held in Egypt recently, Islamic Foundation press release said yesterday, reports BSS.

Hafez Mohammad Mohibullah of Lodhergaon village under Chandpur beat competitors representing 70 countries.

Bosnia and Spain were placed second and third respectively in the competition.

Mohammad Mohibullah will receive more than Taka one lakh as reward from Egyptian president Hosne Mubarak.
