Earlier, a nine-member team of the NCIP, a platform of 307 organisations working to promote the rights of indigenous people in the country, led by Prof Mesbah Kamal visited the area from June 13 to June 15.
On June 6, some local Bangalees and indigenous people of the area locked in clashes following a feud over a disputed mango orchard, leaving one Morshedul Alam dead.
