Assassination attempt on Turkey's President Erdogan foiled: Reports

An assassination attempt on Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was foiled by the country's intelligence on Saturday evening, Turkish media reported.
An explosive device was found under a police car, near a rally held for Erdogan in the south-eastern city of Siirt.
The device was found moments before the rally started, according to media reports.
After it was found, the device was dismantled and defused by a bomb disposal team, according to Turkish news outlet KARAR.
An investigation to find the perpetrator has reportedly begun.
