“Bride must and should wear saree everyday”: Indian couple signs contract during wedding
Couples worldwide are often taking the unbeaten path to break away from traditions and stereotypes during weddings, and to do something fun and spontaneous.
At one such wedding, Shanti and Mintu from India's Assam signed a contract with a list of dos and don'ts after the ceremony, reports The Indian Express.
The clip shared by Wedlock Photography Assam on their Instagram handle shows the bride signing a contract with the groom. They look happy as they sign the contract printed on a giant piece of paper.
The contract states that the "bride must and should wear saree everyday" and "late-night parties are allowed only with the spouse".
The list also adds, "Sunday morning breakfast tum banogay" (you will cook) while there was no mention of who would cook meals on the other days of the week. "Always say yes to Ghar ka khana" (food cooked at home) was also on the list.
Other conditions in the contract included eating only one pizza every month, going to the gym every day, shopping after every 15 days, and clicking good pictures at every party.
Recently, a couple in Bangladesh went viral for getting married on a Biman flight between Dhaka to Sylhet.
