Prachyanat's 'Raja Ebong Onnanyo' on stage after three years

After three long years, Prachyanat's Raja Ebong Onnanyo will be staged today in the Experimental Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 7pm. Raja Ebong Onnanyo, based on Rabindranath Tagore's story and directed by Azad Abul Kalam, was last staged in 2015. Without changing the original story, Azad Abul Kalam treats the classic with a new approach and tries to portray the omnipresent King as a metaphor against the contemporary world of chaos.
