Popular actor Sohana Saba has not just made a name for herself in the fields of cinema and television. She has completed shooting for two films in Kolkata, and is also shooting for Shahriar Nazim Joy's 'Paap Kahini.' The actor discusses her upcoming projects, her thoughts on acting and more in a recent conversation with The Daily Star

Why do you enjoy acting?

I started acting because I wanted to be well-known. Now, I cannot go a day without acting. Being in front of the camera every day brings me a lot of happiness.

Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist?

I am completely optimistic. I always look for the positivity in things. I believe in living in the moment because we only get one life.

Are you a harsh critic of yourself?

I believe I am.  We artistes are self-critical in one way or another.  Creative people are always seeking ways to improve. Being a harsh critic of yourself always pushes you to get better.

Other than acting, what are some things you enjoy doing?

I love traveling, reading, watching movies and hanging out with my friends.

What can you tell us about your upcoming projects?

I am working on some web-based projects. I will soon be seen in an online show called Adda with Sohana, which I am really excited about.
