Armed gang loots bazaar in Narsingdi

Armed miscreants looted Tk 2.30 lakh from Amirganj Bazar in Raipura upazila and left a shop owner injured with bullet in the early hours of yesterday.

Shop owners said a gang of 25 miscreants raided the bazaar at 2-30am.They exploded crackers and fired gunshots, injuring shop owner Khorshed.

The miscreants then broke open the shops and looted money in cash and other goods.

Hearing the gunshots, police from nearby outpost rushed to the spot.Sensing presence of the police,the miscreants fled the scene,leaving behind a pistol and some bullets.
