Alhajj Syed Md Ismail, founding president of Newspaper Hawkers' Multi-purpose Welfare Co-operative Association Ltd, died at a hospital in the capital on Saturday. He was 87.
He was buried at Jurain graveyard following his namaz-e-janaza in his Mirhazirbag residence the same day.
He left behind his wife, a son and three daughters.
