AL activist killed in BCL-Shibir clash in Comilla
COMILLA, Jan 12: A ruling party worker was killed and 11 others were injured in a violent clash between Chhatra League and Shibir activists in Chouddagram thana late Tuesday, reports UNB.
Anwar Hossain, 25, of Laxmipur village, an activist of Awami League and night guard of Laxmipur Bazaar, succumbed to bullet injuries at Chouddagram Thana Health Complex at 11pm.

Additional police force from the district headquarters joined Chouddagram thana to bring the situation under control.
The injured were admitted to thana health complex and other clinics.
The local unit of Awami League in a meeting at Laxmipur Bazaar today protested the killing.
