Acid thrown on 2 sisters in Jhenidah
JHENIDAH, Jan 7: Two sisters received burn injuries in their faces as miscreants threw acid on them at Singha village under Harinakunda thana of the district in the early hours of today.
Rubian, 15, and Rozia, 12, daughters of Jalaluddin were asleep in their house when the miscreants threw acid through a window.
Both the girls were admitted to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital.
A case was filed with Harinakunda thana accusing four persons - Salok, Atiar, Noor and Bari, of the same village.
None was, however, arrested till filing of this report late tonight.
