9 Rangpur JCD men expelled

Nine leaders and activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal of Rangpur have been expelled from the pro-BNP student organisation over vandalising party leader Hannan Shah's vehicle in the city Monday night.
The expelled are members of Rangpur city unit Robi Hasan, Sayeed Mian, Faruk Hossain and Afchhar Mian; leader of ward no-20 unit Mehedy Hasan Munna; activists of Rangpur Government College unit Ismail Hossain Abid, Ibrahim Hossain, and Alamin Mian; and leader of Rangpur Carmichael College unit Rezaul Karim Rana, said a statement, approved by JCD President Abdul Kader Bhuiyan Jewel and General Secretary Habibur Rashid, on Thursday.
The JCD activists denied the allegation.
