2 workers found dead in factory

Two workers were found dead in a toy-making factory in Chhoto Katra area of Chawkbazar in old Dhaka early yesterday.
Police around 5:00am recovered the bodies of Mohammad Rubel, 21, and Mohammad Akkas, 25, from the factory of Abdul Kader Jilani.
As the workers did not response from inside, factory manager Sirajul Islam informed police of the matter.
Police later broke open the door of the factory room and found them dead on the floor, said Habibur Rahman, sub-inspector of Chawkbazar Police Station.
The law enforcers brought an electrician who checked the machine they were using and found that the entire machine was alive with electricity.
Police suspect that the victims got electrocuted by the machine while handling it.
Two other workers--Faruk and Kamal--said they worked with Rubel and Akkas until 4:00am.
