2 to die for killing woman

A court here on Wednesday sentenced two people to death for killing a woman.
The convicts are Santash of Gokulnagar village in Sadar upazila and his brother Afasr.
Additional District and Sessions Judge and Judge of Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-2 Md Mafizur Rahman Bhuiyan handed down the verdict in presence of the siblings.
According to the prosecution, Santash killed his wife Mazeda Begum with the help of Afasar for dowry on June 11, 2007.
Mazeda Begum's brother then filed a murder case accusing Santash and Afsar.
