Huge yaba seized in Ctg

Rapid Action Battalion members arrested two persons along with 11,695 yaba tablets in Chittagong city early Monday.

The arrestees are: Saidul Amin, 24, and Abdur Rahim, reports our Chittagong Correspondent quoting Sugyan Chakma, assistant superintendent of police (ASP).

A team of Rab-7 took position at Bakalia after receiving information that a pickup van from Cox’s Bazar carrying a consignment of yaba tablets.

They stopped the vehicle around 1:30 am when it was crossing the Shah Amanat Bridge in the city and arrested the duo along with the tablets, the ASP said.
