A man lost his hand in explosion while making crude bombs in Faridpur sadar today.
Jillur Rahman, 35, hailing from Notun Pangsha village of Rajbari district, was admitted at Faridpur Medical College and Hospital, reports our Faridpur correspondent.
The explosion took place around 5:30pm while Jillur was making crude bombs inside a house in Char Adampur area of Faridpur sadar, Bijoy Bosak, assistant superintendent of Police in Faridpur circle told The Daily Star.
The house belongs to Abdullah Al Mamun but he claimed that he does not know Jillur.
Locals heard the sound of an explosion and rushed to the house where they found Jillur injured severely, the ASP added.
