Jail Killing Day tomorrow

Awami League will observe the Jail Killing Day in a befitting manner tomorrow.
Four national leaders Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmed, Captain (Retd) Mansoor Ali and AH M Quamruzzaman were shot dead in Dhaka Central Jail in the early hours on this day in 1975.
Awami League has chalked out elaborate programmes to observe the day.
The programmes include hoisting of national flag at half-mast and black flag atop party offices, wearing of black badge, placing of wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Banani graveyard, milad mahfil and special prayers.
Acting General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam has advised party workers and leaders to take part in the programmes.
