Road accidents kill six, injure 25

Six people were killed and 25 others injured in separate road accidents in Jhenidah, Madaripur, Dinajpur and Mymensingh yesterday.
Our correspondent in Jhenidah reports: Two people were killed in a road accident on Jhenidah-Dhaka highway at Madhupur in Jhenidah yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Akkas Ali, 45 and Shariful Islam, 50.
Police quoting witnesses said the accident occurred when a passenger bus hit a passenger van, leaving them dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent to Jhenidah sadar hospital for autopsy.
A correspondent from Madaripur adds: Two people were killed and five others injured as a Nosimon collided head-on with a truck on Shibchar-Pacchar road in Madaripur yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Jolekha Begum, 30, and Shajib, 12.
The injured were admitted at Shibchar hospital.
Our correspondent in Dinajpur adds: Two people were killed and another was injured in a road accident at Birganj upazila in Dinajpur yesterday.
The dead were identified as Md Darul Huda, 24, of Nachol upazila in Chapainawabganj and Md Mahatab Hossain, 28, under Chirirbandar upazila in Dinajpur.
Police said the accident occurred on their way back form Panchagarh.
The injured was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Our correspondent in Mymensingh adds: Some 20 people, including a female doctor, were injured in a road accident at Raghurampur on Mymensingh-Netrokona road in under Mymensingh sadar upazila yesterday.
Police said the accident took place when a passenger bus skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering at around 5:00pm, injuring some 20 passengers.
Critically injured 10 passengers were admitted at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
