Steps to be taken for appeal hearing

Law Minister Shafique Ahmed yesterday told parliament that necessary steps would be taken for the appeal hearing on the verdict of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman murder case after the appeal case appears on the daily cause list of the Appellate Division.
The minister said this while replying to a question from Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury.
He said there are adequate number of judges in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court to finally dispose of the case.
"But the paper book of the case has not yet been prepared for appeal hearing," he added.
