Special programmes on Nazrul birth anniversary

"Dukhu Naam-er Shei Chheleti," a special talk show on Nazrul will be aired at 3:45 pm. Legendary Nazrul singer Feroza Begum dwells on her memories of the great poet. The programme has been directed by Sirajul Islam.
Musical programme "Abar Bhalobashar Shadh Jagey" featuring performances by leading Nazrul singers -- Khalid Hossain, Shaheen Samad, Khairul Anam Shakil, Yasmin Mushtari and Rebeka Sultana will be aired at 5:10 pm.
Single episode TV play "Agni-giri" will be aired at 8:45 pm. The play has been directed and adapted by Abul Hayat. The cast includes Nadia, Shubho, Masud Ali Khan, Sharmili Ahmed and others.

Special programme "Aporup Shei Duranto" will be aired at 11:30 pm. The programme will feature Nazrul singer Fatema Tuz Zohra as the guest.
"Chhotoder Nazrul," a special programme for children, will be aired at 5:30 pm. The programme has been produced by Afroza Sultana.
Single episode TV play "Amar Naam Nazrul" will be aired at 9 pm. Written by Rihab Mahmub, the play has been directed by Minhazur Rahman. The cast includes Arman Parvez Murad, Nadia, Fazlur Rahman Babu and others.

Channel i will air the daylong "Nazrul Mela" live from its Tejgaon office.
"Kalo Pahar Alo Korey," a solo musical programme featuring Nazrul singer Ferdous Ara, will be aired at 9:35 pm. Shot in the picturesque hills of Nepal, the programme has been directed by Rehana Samdani.

Documentary programme "Anjali Loho Mor" will be aired at 10:05 am. The documentary has been directed by Sajjad Zahir and hosted by Shabnam Mushtari.
Live musical programme "Chiro Chena Sur" will be aired at 2:35 pm. The programme will feature performances by leading Nazrul singers Khairul Anam Shakil, Yasmin Mustari, Yakub Ali Khan and others.
Single episode TV play "Mejo Bou" will be aired at 9 pm. The play has been directed by Abul Hayat and is an adaptation of Nazrul's novel "Mrityu Khudha." The play features Bipasha Hayat, Shajol and Abul Hayat in central roles.

On the birth anniversary of Kazi Nazrul Islam, special programmes "Kaberi Nodir Joley" and "Amarey Dibona Bhulitey" will be aired on Ekushey Television.
"Kaberi Nodir Joley," to be aired at 4:30pm, will highlight musical performances by Shaheen Samad and Lina Taposhi. Puja Sen Gupta and Bipasha Roy will perform dance at the programme.
Noted Nazrul artistes Khairul Anam Shakil, Yasmin Mushtari and Kalpana Anam will render some of Nazrul's popular songs on "Amarey Dibona Bhulitey" that will be aired at 8:30pm tonight. Bipasha Roy and Oishi will perform dance incorporating 'Nazrul Geeti' at the programme.
Both of the programmes are produced by Masudul Hasan Rony.

To celebrate the 110th birth anniversary of Kazi Nazrul Islam, a discussion programme titled "Shamashamay-e Nazrul" will be aired today on Desh TV at 7:45pm. The discussion will focus contemporary subjects in light of Nazrul's literary work. Shantuno Kaiser and Syed Abul Moksud are the discussants. The programme has been directed by Tridiv Bormon.
A special musical programme "Ganer Mala" directed by Bulbul Islam will be aired at 8:15pm on Desh TV. Renowned Nazrul artistes Sadya Afreen Mallick, Ferdous Ara, Fatema Tuz Zohra, Khairul Anam Shakil, Yaqub Ali and Sharmin Shathi will perform on the programme.
