Four more 'Razakars' sued in Jamalpur
Four more suspected Razakars have been sued on charge of killing freedom fighter Abdul Quader during the War of Liberation in 1971.
The accused are Abdul Majid Bucha of Rabiarchar village, Tota Mia and Lal Mia of Charkauria village under Bakshiganj upazila and Sekandar Ali, 62, of Kakilakura village under Shreebardi upazila in Sherpur district.
Victim's wife Khushi Begum filed the case against the accused with the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
After receiving the case, the court asked the officer-in-charge of Bakshiganj Police Station to take necessary steps for investigation.
According to the case statement, the accused picked up freedom fighter Abdul Quader from his house at Batrajor Purbapara village and gunned him down on October 22, 1971.
Three cases have, so far, been filed with Bakshiganj Police Station against 15 Razakars.
