PM flies to Saudi Arabia on April 20
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave for Saudi Arabia on a four-day official visit on April 20 when she will meet Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and perform Umrah Hajj, officials said here yesterday.
Earlier, Hasina had to postpone her Saudi Arabia visit scheduled on March 7 in the wake of the BDR mutiny at Pilkhana.
Saudi Ambassador in Dhaka Abdullah Bin Naser Al-Busairi told UNB that the prime minister would meet with the Saudi King on April 21 to discuss various issues of mutual interest.
This will be Hasina's first trip abroad after assuming the office of Prime Minister on January 6.
She will perform Umrah at Makkah and offer fateha at the Rouza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) at Madinah during her stay.
