SKorea keen to recruit more manpower
South Korea is keen to recruit more manpower from Bangladesh and increase its assistance for the development of solar and coal energy sectors, and Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant.
The South Korean Ambassador in Dhaka Suk-Bum Park expressed the interest when he met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her Parliament office in the evening, Press Secretary to the PM Abul Kalam Azad told newsmen.
The South Korean envoy reiterated his president's greetings to Hasina for assumption of office as Bangladesh prime minister through a landslide victory in a free and fair election on December 29, 2008.
Park invited Hasina to visit South Korea at her convenient time.
The Ambassador thanked the government for maintaining an investment-friendly environment in the Korean EPZ.
In reply, Hasina assured the Korean government of continuing the investment-friendly in the future.
The Ambassador hoped that the existing bilateral relations between the two countries would be strengthened in the days to come.
Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Mollah Wahiduzzaman was present.
