Kazi Farms holds dealers conference

Kazi Farms Group, a top player in the country's poultry industry, held its dealers conference in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Fisheries and Livestock Minister Abdul Latif Biswas attended the conference as chief guest, according to a press statement.
The minister told the conference that the government would provide all support to the poultry industry, which can help cut unemployment and meet demand for protein.
Presiding over the conference, Kazi Farms Group Managing Director Kazi Zahedul Hasan said bird flu had "severely" affected the poultry industry.
More than 1,000 dealers attended the function.
