40,000 eggs seized

At least 40,000 Indian eggs were seized from bordering Chouara Bazar area under Sadar Dakshin upazila in Comilla yeserday.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the area and seized the Indian eggs worth around Tk 2 lakh when those were being smuggled into country.
Sensing presence of law enforcers the smugglers fled from the scene. Local administration destroyed the eggs.
