Road crash kills SSC examinee

A Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinee was killed in a road accident on his way to Kumira Girls School examination centre at Tala upazila in Satkhira yesterday.
He was identified as Shariful Islam, 15, son of Abdul Khaleq of Mithabari village and a student of Nagarghata Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam Bidyapit of Tala upazila.
Quoting locals police said the accident occurred at Kumira bus stand on Satkhira-Khulna road at about 9:15am when a Khulna-bound truck hit his bicycle from behind leaving him dead on the spot.
