Khagrachhari talent hunt programme

The 5th round of the Khagrachhari hill district talent hunt programme rounded off successfully with the judges selecting the top 10 singers from various places in the hill district of Khagrachhari.
The top 10 contestants are Sonia Das from the remote area of Guimara thana under Ramghor upazila while Mohammad Jewel and Sheli Das Puja from Panchhari upazila, Monisa Sarker and Baishakhi Sarker from Manikchhari upazila, Runa Laila, Purna Barua, Rashed Uddin, Paro Mita Barua and Baijoyanti Khisha from Khagrachhari Sadar upazila in Khagrachhari.
The judges of the finals were cultural personalities Mongsathowai Chowdhury, Abul Kashem, Kajol Chowdhury, Erina Chakma and Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rahed Hossein.
Sonia Das, the top contestant from Guimara told The Daily Star correspondent, "It is a great opportunity for me to get this prestigious rank. I will strive to get number one position in the competition.”
