WATSAN Mela a cultural fiesta

A recent three-day fair, titled ' WATSAN Mela', attracted much attention through its interesting cultural events to build public awareness about water and sanitation. The fair was held at the premises of Shambhuganj UC High School in Sadar Upazila. Deputy Commissioner of Mymensingh, Ziaur Rahman Khan was present on the occasion.
The cultural events included discussions, songs, dance sequences and plays relating to water and sanitation. The Baul songs and Ghambhira on the concluding day, in particular, went down well with the audience.
