Friedrich out of friendly

Experienced Germany defender Arne Friedrich has been forced out of next Wednesday's friendly international against Norway with a back injury, it was announced on Friday.
The 29-year-old has had several injections to try and ease the back problem, but has been unable to train this week and sat out Friday's Bundesliga game for his club Hertha Berlin against Arminia Bielefeld.
Having won 64 caps for Germany, Friedrich informed national coach Joachim Loew on Friday, but it is unclear whether a replacement will now be called up.
