AL man's house attacked: 14 hurt

At least 14 people were injured as BNP supporters attacked the house of an Awami League activist at village Sreeula in Assassuni upazila yesterday.
Two of the injured were admitted to Assassuni Upazila Health Complex and the rest to different clinics.
BNP leader Akhtaruzzaman and AL worker Habibur Rahman had an altercation over some political issues at the village at around about 11:00am, police quoted locals as saying.
Later, the supporters of Akhtaruzzaman attacked the house of Habibur Rahman and beat up his family members and neighbours as they tried to resist them.
