Higher education
Over the last couple of years Bangladesh has been moving forward with the establishment of a large number of higher educational institutions, publicly and privately. In the recent past a number of public universities have been established, particularly in the headquarters of greater districts including a few medical colleges.
On the other hand a large number of private universities have also emerged.
It is certainly praiseworthy to have many higher educational institutes in a country. But I am against those who are really sucking blood and hard earned money from the students enrolled in the private universities. Many of them do not have appropriate educational facilities, adequate qualified teachers, moderate infrastructure for classes and research work and resourceful library for students.
Many national and multinational companies circulate their vacancy announcements clearly stipulating the name of universities from where they prefer of fill up the positions.
We expect that all private universities would follow the specific standard practical curriculum.
