Orientation of AIUB Spring Semester

The orientation of the new students of undergraduate and graduate programmes for Spring Semester 2008-2009 of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) was held at the AIUB auditorium on January 14-15, says a press release.
AIUB Founder Chairman Dr Anwarul Abedin, Vice Chancellor Dr Carmen Z Lamagna, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anwar Hossain and Vice President (Academics) Prof Dr Tafazzal Hossain spoke on this occasion.
Earlier, an orientation programme for 30 newly appointed teachers of the university was also held on January 13 at the same place.
Dr Carmen underscored the need for sustaining quality education to face global challenges there.
A 'Question and Answer' session was also held where the vice chancellor replied to various questions from the students, guardians and the newly appointed teachers.
AIUB Trustee Board Members Hasanul A Hasan was also present on the occasion.
