Dr Toufique made adviser to PM

The government yesterday appointed former energy secretary Dr Toufique-e-Elahi Chowdhury Bir Bikram as an adviser to the prime minister.
As an adviser he will enjoy the rank and status, salaries, allowances and other benefits of a minister, according to an official handout.
