JCI Bangladesh gets new president

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh elected Aftab Mahmud Khurshid its national president for 2009 at its annual general assembly held on Saturday.
JCI Bangladesh also held a "national conference 2008" and celebrated its tenth year of existence at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.
Mahbub Jamil, the chief adviser's special assistant for civil aviation and tourism, joined the function as chief guest.
Also present were Mahbubur Rahman, ICC president, and Farzana Chowdhury, JCI national president of 2008.
Junior Chamber International is a worldwide organisation of young leaders and entrepreneurs, with more than two million members in 100 countries.
The group encourages young entrepreneurs and professionals to meet, learn and grow, through individual development, creating business opportunities, driving community development and international activities.
