Monsura pledges empowerment of women

Lone woman candidate in Nilphamari district Monsura Rahman Jahangir Mohiuddin wants to show the way to empowerment of women.
Monsura Rahman of National Awami Party (NAP) is contesting from Nilphmari-4 (Saidpur and part of Kishoreganj) constituency in December 29 national election.
Monsura Rahman is the eldest daughter of NAP leader and senior minister in late president Ziaur Rahman's cabinet late Moshiur Rahman Jadu Miah.
Talking to this correspondent local people said Monsura is likely to bag a good number of votes as once NAP had a good organizational strength in the railway town. Moreover, many railway workers live there who have respect for Monsura's father- a labour leader.
