Govt looks to more Brunei investment
Foreign Adviser Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury said that Bangladesh would welcome more investments from Brunei as the two countries have great potentials to expand economic cooperation.
He said this when the new High Commissioner of Brunei to Bangladesh Haji Abd Razak bin Hani Mohd Hussaini paid a courtesy call on him at the Foreign Ministry yesterday.
They also discussed the matter of increased manpower export from Bangladesh to Brunei and the establishment of airways links, said a press release.
The prospects of a Joint Economic Commission was also mooted. The foreign adviser welcomed the Brunei envoy and wished him every success during his tenure of office.
