Cultural celebrations of Victory Day

Dhaleswari Kabita O Natya Sangathan organised a cultural function at open stage of Motilal Degree College under Daulatpur upazila in Manikganj on Wednesday celebrating Victory Day.
Shah Alam, President of Dhaleswari Kabita O Natya Sangathan, formally inaugurated the function. Anwar Hossain, principal of Motilal Degree College; Rokonuzzaman Khan, principal of BBC College; Omar Faruk, officer in charge of Daulatpur police station; cultural personality Azharul Islam, Abu Sayeed Musa; Monjurul Karim and Jalal Uddin addressed and Salman Khan, secretary of the sangathan conducted the function.
Singers of Kushtia and Manikganj and Close up-1 singers rendered songs.
Around ten thousand people enjoyed the performances of the renowned singers.
On the other side, the Manikganj district office of Bangladesh Shishu Academy and Manikganj district unit of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy jointly organised a cultural function at Bijoy Mela Mancha in Manikganjon December 16.
GM Saleh Uddin, Deputy Commissioner of Manikganj formally inaugurated the function as chief guest. Sheikh Muhammad Maruf Hasan, Police Superintendent of Manikganj, Professor Abu Bakar Siddik, Principal of Government Devendra College, Golam Mohier Khan Shepar, convener of Manikganj unit of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Command Council, AFM Nurtaz Alam Bahar, president of Manikganj Press Club and Dipak Ghosh, Chairman of Bijoy Mela were the special guests. Sharmin Sultana, district officer of Bangladesh Shishu Academy presided over the function.
Members of the two organisations took part in the cultural function.
