BTV, Betar start airing speech of political leaders

Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Betar yesterday started airing the speech of the leaders of political parties live ahead of the national elections.
During the 15-minute speech, the political leaders can highlight their party's vision, strategies and future plans for the development of the country.
On the first day, Bangladesh Khelafat Andolon Secretary General Maulana Mohammad Zafarullah Khan and Bangladesh Tariqaat Federation Chairman Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari delivered their speeches.
The state-run BTV and Betar will simultaneously air the speech of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) President Manjurul Ahsan Khan and Zaker Party Chairman Mostafa Amir Foysal today at 7:15pm and 7:30pm respectively.
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Maulana Motiur Rahman Nizami will deliver his speech at 7:15pm tomorrow and Bangladesh Kalyan Party Chairman Syed Muhammad Ibrahim at 7:30pm, said an official at BTV.
On December 20, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal General Secretary Abdul Malek Ratan will address the nation at 7:15pm and Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain at 7:30pm.
Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad and Krishak Sramik Janata League chief Kader Siddiqui will deliver their speech at 7:15pm and 7:30pm on December 21.
On December 22, Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal convenor Khalequzzaman and Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh President Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury will address the nation at 7:15pm and 7:30pm respectively.
