Bangladesh move up in rankings

Bangladesh have moved up by 7 places in the FIFA-Coca Cola World rankings for the month of December 2008.
They improved their position to 174th from their previous 181st in November, sharing their position with regional rivals Nepal.
Among the South Asian nations, they were placed 5th out of 8 teams managing to finish ahead of only Afghanistan and Bhutan.
India topped the list among the South Asian countries ranking 143rd, followed by the Maldives (154th), Sri Lanka (163rd) and Pakistan (165th).
