Shahadat fined for swearing

Shahadat Hossain was fined half his match fees for abusing a batsman during the second day of the Khulna-Dhaka National Cricket League tie at the Khulna Divisional Stadium yesterday.
Firebrand Shahadat, who plays for Dhaka, was found guilty of verbally abusing Khulna paceman Rabiul Islam while batting in his side's first innings. He has been disciplined for breach of BCB Code of Conduct and ICC Rules of Conduct.
Match referee Akhtar Ahmed held a hearing after close of play on Monday to decide the fine.
