2 bronzes for Bangladesh
After firing blank on the fourth day, Bangladeshi shooters won two bronze medals on the fifth day of the 4th South Asian Shooting Championships in Islamabad, Pakistan yesterday.
The women's team, featuring Sabrina Sultana, Sharmin Shilpa and Tripti Datta bagged the 50m rifle three position bronze. Sabrina finished fifth in the individual competition scoring 641.3 points.
Nuruddin Selim, Altamas Kabir and Iqbal Islam won bronze in the men's skeet event. Selim missed an individual medal when he finished fourth with a score of 128.
Bangladesh have so far won two gold, one silver and seven bronze medals in the championships.
