1036 bottles of liquor seized in Ctg

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in separate drives early yesterday seized 1,036 bottles of contraband liquor from Anwara upazila and in the city.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab conducted drives at Hazipara and Gohira under Anwara upazila at 12.45am and seized 627 bottles and 86 cans of contraband liquor by searching paddy field, pond and graveyard in the area.
In another drive at around 2.30am, Rab also seized 323 bottles of liquor searching Jetty No 18 of Patenga Sea Beach.
