Cultural programme by artistes of Anandaloke

Renowned Tagore singer of Sylhet and founder of Anandaloke, Rana Kumar Sinha was given a warm reception with a colourful function on his 50th birthday on Friday last. Rabindra Sangeet Shilpi Sangstha and Anandaloke organised the event at the Sylhet Zilla Parishad auditorium.
Head of the department of Bangla in the Madan Mohan college-Dr. Abul Foteh Fattah chaired the function while veteran educationist Professor Mohammad Abdul Aziz was chief guest.
The function began with Tagore songs performed by the members Rabindra Sangeet Shilpi Sangstha and Anandaloke. Then guests wished Sinha with bouqets of flowers and presentations.
Chief executive officer of Zila Parishad Maniruzzaman, veteran cultural personalities Hemchandra Bhhattacharya, Anil Kishore Sinha, AK Sheram and Rafiqur Rahman Lozu, Shuvendu Imam and general secretary of the Shilpi Sangstha, Sumana Aziz also spoke at the function. The speakers complimented Rana Kumar Sinha for his contribution to Rabindra Sangeet in Sylhet as well as the cultural field.
